A report came out today about a letter that went public written by a father to his son who was about to open up to him about being homosexual.
You can read the article about it here…
Father’s Letter to His Gay Son

Is this an act of a loving and accepting Dad?
Or Is it a Dad who may be sincere but is misguided and failing to reprove his son’s lifestyle?
What are your own reflections of this?
Could be either or both. Hard to say without knowing the guy personally.
I think the prevailing sentiment that Christians who believe homosexuality is wrong do not love and accept people who identify as homosexual is largely a caricature, except in obvious cases like the Westboro Baptist folks.
You are raising some good questions here that people would do well to consider, Matt. Keep on.
